THY GARMENT OF PRAISE |
Holy Father, knock do I thy child, do not prevent entrance to the foot of thy servant . |
Thy hearts door do I stand before, humbled and begging of thee Holy One entrance . |
The face of thy daughter washed of sin, my hands covered with thy blood my Lord God, my heart filled with thy light to be visible unto thy eye . |
Sin forgiven, repentant and awaiting thee, seeking do I thy approval, thy acceptance . |
Blood bathed freedom gained from the burden of sin my heart does know thy gift of love. |
From the captivity of evil, bound was my mind to sin the enemy's thoughts did claim ruler-ship, deception did cause my mind to be unhearing of truth . |
In bondage and chains, now from the evil one set free my Father, |
by thy great power cast off is the old yoke of flesh and sin . |
Gladly do I wear thy garment of praise and worship . Yielded unto thy mind my thoughts to be uplifted high above the darkness unto thy holy place . |
To be held in thy safe keeping, to be covered with thy garment |
of righteousness and holiness . |
Cast down the remnant of evil even the memory of his darkness do I pray wash from my mind . |
Daily do I my Father desire to have my thoughts in thee |
thy truth do I seek from the bondage of lies and false witness . |
Into the depths of thy anointed word to abide, surrendered unto thy mind my thoughts impure to be cast down by thy thoughts of purity and holiness . |
Yielded my heart to be amid thy heart's desires do I desire to be favored of thee my Lord God . |
To be pleasing in thy sight, my words to be as songs of praise and worship of thee. |
Thy life now lived my Lord thy vessel cleansed of darkness and willing to serve am I to bless thee only as I each day am blessed . |
"Amen" ! |
