"The Lightless World "

Holy Father in thee and thy every promise do I entrust my heart and soul .

Hidden within the secret place of thy heart is my life and the direction ye would have me to take .

Prayerfully do I seek the thoughts of thy mind to be revealed into the understanding of my heart .

Each step to be ordered of thee, the work of my hands to be the work of thy hands .

Tenderly I pray to be enabled to touch the brow of thy child upon the head of thy servant my hand

to be placed as thy own hand .

The instruction from thy heart to be spoken from between my lips, thy power in the depths of my belly .

Thy word to flow as a river of living water, empowered by thy Spirit, and guided by thy great power.

Impossible to stand, without thy strength, without ability am I , without thy knowledge and wisdom
void am I and powerless am I to stand .

Increased am I my heart is enlarged to house thy love and compassion .

My eye to rest upon the suffering and the lost, those wandering about in the darkness .

Caught in the web of deceit and living in the death of sin, lightless is the world of evil .

Forgiven am I from thy heart of love and mercy, washed was the blackness of sin from

my heart and soul, the blood of the Lamb Jesus has cleansed thy vessel to be thy servant .

To be a barer of thy holy light to shine forth into the darkened world of sin and lack of knowledge of thee, my Lord .

Thy love to flow forth to touch the heart and to bring home thy wandering child .

Daily my Lord God each thought of my mind taken captive, to allow thy thought to occupy and to rule.

Sanctify and purify with the blood of Jesus, the washing in the water of thy word, and the purity of

thy holy fire to consume even the memory of sinful deed .

This moment and each yet to come do I my Lord God seek to hear thy voice and no other .

Only do I my Lord Jesus love and follow thee, to be led am I in the teaching of thy Holy Spirit, into all thy truth .

To bless thee and to be pleasing in thy sight is my heart.'s desire .
