| " T H E W A S T E L A N D " |
| My "Father" prayerfully and with my heart heavy do I come unto thee "Lord Jesus" . |
| My "Lord" seen of thy eye, known only unto thee the burden of my heart . |
| All about my person "O' Lord" do I hear the cry of despair, lost are the hopes of many . |
| Along the wayside of my walk upon thy pathway do I see the wasteland . |
| Unkempt are the grounds, the land is littered with the debris of broken hearts and victims of the evil one . |
| His lies and deceptions have the semblance of truth, hidden and shrouded in darkness. |
| The vulnerable do fall victim to his half truths, his pathway is lighted with the darkness to blind the eye . |
| Hidden are the pitfalls his strongholds he does build using the weakened state of the faith of mankind . |
| Stretch forth thy great arm "O' God" extend thy hand unto these, the victims of his evil . |
| Thy heart of love O' my "Father" do I pray this day of thee . |
| Thy mercy and great reward of the obedient and faithful . |
| The eye opened of the lifeless, the name called of the foot gone astray . |
| Ye my "Lord God" call forth the life of the weakened one, uplift and strengthen . |
| to withstand the onslaught of the enemy . |
| The weight carried upon thy shoulders O' my "Lord" the heaviness is upon thy heart . |
| Thy love sent forth my "Father" received of the heart most needy . |
| To love thee this day my "Lord" faithful and true to thy instruction and guidance |
| Thy servant to be yielding my heart to thy love and compassion . |
| My hand to be applied to thy work, my foot to walk thy walk . |
| In thee am I found hope-filled and faith-filled, answered am I of thee "O' Holy One" thy love is mine Lord Jesus . |
| Shed abroad is thy light of love, onto the lives about thy child, Blessed am I . |
