My Testimony
Testimonies are wonderful! I love to read them; love to hear them - the wonderful works of God
in the lives of his people. Our God is an awesome and loving Father who desires to give good gifts unto His children (Matthew 7:11). Each one of us has a story, a marvelous testimony of deliverance from the bondage of this world, and each must give all glory and honor to God and Him alone. I cannot begin to tell of the joy and peace within my heart simply knowing that He is my Father and I am His child. I was saved at the age of 24 years old in a little country church near Spanishburg, West Virginia. I will never forget how I fell at the altar, not even knowing how to pray - all I could say is "Lord help me, Lord help me." Jesus gloriously saved me that night and I am forever changed. Since then I, as so many others, have been through many trials, temptations, oppressions and persecutions but the Lord has kept me through his marvelous grace and I know that He will continue to perfect in me the work He has begun. Many years ago He filled me with the precious Holy Ghost. He has been my comfort, my peace and my strong tower through the storms of life. He has healed my body of numerous afflictions over the years, comforted me in the deaths of my loved ones, exalted me when the enemy came to persecute me and restored my marriage after a malicious attack from the enemy to destroy the 23 years my husband and I had built together. What a tender and compassionate Father; what a faithful Father is He! All of my life I had experienced pain in relationships with those closest to me and I was tired of being hurt and tired of the pain. But I declare to you with joy and strength in my heart today that our Heavenly Father will heal us from ALL of our wounds and He will restore our joy and peace if we will RELEASE to Him the burdens of our heart. In July of this year,
(the seventh month), in the 47th year of my life, in the 7th year of a deep and tremendous emotional pain, on the 23rd day of the month my Father COMPLETELY delivered me -
delivered me from pain experienced in my childhood and pain suffered from persecutions of others during my walk with Him, years of emotional pain. A precious sister in the Lord prayed with me in a little wooded area near her home and I was set free! He also healed me of the anger that had built in me from being hurt by those I love the most. Then Jesus gloriously saved my husband on April 10th of this year, 2005 in the 28th year of our marriage. Now we can work together to build the Kingdom and win souls for Him. Many years ago my Father called me to teach His Word. I also have a heart for the mission fields and hope someday to be able to go into foreign fields and take the Word of God to those who are lost. I give all praise and honor to God my Father, Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior and the Blessed Holy Spirit my Comforter and
Guide. May you be encouraged by the words of this testimony and always remember there is
no trial too great, no pain too deep, nothing too difficult for our God!
