purpose in the band is?
We are a 4 piece band, Rikki Durrent-Vocals/Guitar, David Anderson-guitar,
Dave Adams-Bass, Gavin Hunter-drums
How did ya come up with your band name?
Dave: we were looking for a name and couldn’t think of anything,
then one day I saw a magazine had a free eight page pullout and it
looked cool, I thought it would look cool as band name
What are all your feelings on how people are categorizing different punk bands,
now a days?
Rikki: it doesn’t really bother us, when people ask what sort of music we are,
I say listen to us and let them judge.
Dave: People will always be categorising different bands, and we think
it great that there is so much choice and everyone gets what they want,
but we don’t see any need to argue about it.
What is your defination on what punk is?
Rikki: Punk can mean different things to different people, we
don’t like to give it a specific meaning. Some people say that if
Sid Viscous was to listen to punk music today he’d be shocked, honestly
I don’t think he would care, maybe that’s punk?
David: It keeps evolving
what bands have influenced you?
We all have a wide varitety of music that we listen to so we all
take different iffluences from that.
David: Gun’s n Roses, Fenix Tx
Dave: The Ataris, Blink 182
Gav: Incubus, Rufio
Rikki: I think the 80’s were the best decade for music!
What is the best concert you have been too?
David: Goldfinger, King Tut’s Glasgow, they really put on a good
show and involve the crowd.
Rikki: Greenday SECC or New Fo!
und Glory in the garage, they
had the best atmosphere.
Gav: it was the loug festival in Sweden in 1979 it was a rad time,
me and a german pitbull trainer called Heinz went by train we drank a lot,
smoked a lot and listened to sweet music… oh and incubus at the barrowlands
Dave: New Found Glory in the garage! Rx Bandits and Fexit Tx supported,it was an awesome show or The Ataris at the garage, It had so much energy.
