Alex M - there are no real band that have a direct influence on me,, if I was to list them the list would be almost endless, cause I am open minded to as many styles of music as possible, from blues, and jazz, all the way through to punk, metal, hardcore emo, whatever, I just get influenced by whatever I think sounds good I tend to get influenced by styles of music rather than bands in particular..
Elliot - For me there would be too many bands to say. I love music and listen to pretty much every style. I¡¡ |m really into Hip-Hop but then again I love listen to early 30¡¡ |s swing so it would be to hard to say. As a band we are influenced by a lot of Classic rock bands, Bon Jovi for example is one Shanes personal favourites. Quality Rock ¡¡¥¥n¡¡ | Roll!!
Shane - We have all been influenced by different styles of music I come from a more rock back ground and find influence from 311, deftones, foo fighters, jimmy eat world etc although that doesn’t necessarily reflect our sound.
What do you think is the most difficult part trying to do the whole band thing? and getting into the business?
Alex M - the most difficult part about the whole band thing is trying to get that initial break,, the music business has got to be one of the hardest businesses to get into, and I still have a heck of a lot of things to learn about the business side of things,, since the moment the band has started it has just been a continuous learing curve,, and I believe even as a band nears the end of their career they are still continue to learn things about the business in which they are in
Elliot - The most difficult part is playing with a group of people that all love music and playing as much as yourself. I went through a whole lot of bands until I found NSH and have never looked back from there. The music Industry is really difficult to get into mainly because of the competition surrounding it. It is a hard thing to get into. My only advice is find good and TRUSTWORTHY! Management. Be careful because there are a lot of people out there that would love to screw over a small time band.
Shane - I think its starting off....a few years back when we started it was really tough to get on shows and for people to even take you seriously but once things start happening and you see people singing your words at shows it’s the most rewarding experience ever!
