First of all why don't you introduce us to all the members and what there purpose in the band is?
Mark : drums
Josh : bass/ vocals
Corey : lead guitar/ vocals
Rob : lead vocals/ guitar
How did ya come up with your band name?
we just wanted a name that would best describe our music and AMPED is what we came up with.
What are all your feelings on how people are categorizing different punk bands, now a days?
Well, I think that bands are always trying to re-invent new sounds and create their own style and its hard to put a classification on some of those bands so ... they make up some stupid-ass name for their sound. Personally, I think its confusing as hell.
What is your defination on what punk is?
3 chords, good lyrics, beers and girls
What do you think of the Canadian Music sence right now?
I think its great to see Canadian bands ruling the music scene right now. With bands like Simple Plan, Gob, Sum41 and Avril leading the way its only going to get better because it recognizes this country for its great music. Not that I like these bands personally but ....
What bands have influence you?
Social Distortion, Pennywise, Face to Face, Unwritten Law, MxPx, Blink182
What do you think is the most diffcult part trying to do the whole band thing? and getting into the business?
Its the business aspect of it all that pisses me off. Everything can be so political and its a real bitch to deal with alot of these snobby fuckin music industry types.
