(RECOMMENDED TITLE) Can We Talk!
(AUTHOR) by Donald R. H. Byrd and John Klosek
(PUBLISHER) Prentice Hall, 1991
Just thought I write and recommend a great book. It's a good book to use with those small and individual adult and young adult free conversation classes. It can be adapted to suit any level from upper elementary on up. It has about twelve units and each unit covers a different topic and a different grammar or usage point. The thing that makes this book so different from all the other books of this type is the way that the basics art expanded on. It makes the student(s) think. It really gets them interested and involved. I'll give the book a 9 out of 10, simply because it's not a series.
