You see, this nice lady (now my mew-mie), moved into this big roomy house in February, 2001. When the former owners moved out, they told her they were leaving a calico cat, who was very wild and could not even be touched. (that was my kitty mom) So the lady who moved into the house proceeded to, very slowly, earn the trust of the calico cat, who she called Honey. As the lady began to see more and more of Honey, she realized that there WAS more and more of Honey to SEE!! (in other words, she was going to have kittens!) I was born, along with another litter-mate, who we think is a little boy, on April 29, 2001.
My litter mate was pretty wild, and will not let the nice lady pat him, except rarely, when he is eating. But I, on the other hand, really like this lady and wanted to be around her as much as I could. I found out I really LIKE to be patted! The lady would come and sit on the back porch, where all us kitties eat, and pat me and Honey. Honey wasn't around much, but I stayed around all the time. Eventually, I convinced her to let me come IN the HOUSE!!
We had to go visit a place she called the "VET" before I could come in. They gave me shots, poked and prodded around on me and even put me to sleep!! When I woke up, my tummy was shaved! I wasn't sure why, and felt different. But the next day, the lady (now my mew-mie) came and got me and took me HOME!! I'm getting used to being an indoor kitty, and I think I kinda like it..... =^..^=
Well, I'm getting sleepy, so I will write more later. And as soon as I get some, I will put pictures of my cute little self up, for everyone to see!!
