I have found many interesting things in my search. I have even found a distant relative that has also been researching the family tree. We have swapped some information and even some photos of our great great grandfather and great great grandmother.
I have traced them as far back as 1766. They had been sentenced to Australia for 7 years. All they stole was a beavercoat and a cotton slip. It seems so petty these days but thats what it was like back then.
My family have a placarde in the suburb that was named after them where they were granted land.
In those days it was not uncommon for them to have lots of children. They had 12 children in all. So when peicing together my family tree it seems to keep on going and going. All up I have about 800 people, and will conitue in my serch for my ancestors.
