About Me
Carrie found her love for dog training while working at a Chicago dog daycare/training facility in 2005. While working in the daycare she began an internship under a competitive obedience instructor, in 2007 she began formally training. In addition to studying with competitive obedience instructors, she also studied with top competitive agility instructors.

Carrie's techniques are derived from several different methods, pulled together to provide a fun way to build a rock solid relationship between owner and dog. She focuses on peole having fun with their dogs by teaching them to play-train. She has accomplished this by designing an agility foundation class that consisted of games to teach reliability, focus and core-strength building.

Carrie is a member of Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT) and also volunteers at DuPage Animal Care and Control. She regularly attends seminars, camps and classes with her own dogs. She currently competes with her Australian Cattle Dog, Lola, in APDT Rally, AKC and NADAC agility. She also handles a Shiba Inu in AKC Rally. In addition to Lola, Carrie is preparing her other Australian Cattle Dog, Cargo, for agility. She shares her home with four dogs in all, Lola, Cargo, Bettie an American Pit Bull Terrier and Maia a Norwegian Lundehund.
