Sterling, (photo on right) one of 16 rescued from a Missouri puppymill! Sterling was rescued from the puppymill several weeks ago with 15 other Scotties. Sterling, currently staying at Camp Branzell, is being evaluated for placement*. He is approximately 5 years of age and, after testing, has been given a clean bill of health. With this good news, plans are underway for neutering. The screening process to find the perfect home for Sterling has already begun. Soon he will be placed in the loving home and he can begin his life again. Look into those eyes! I can see a very intelligent and happy Scottie! As Sterling begins his new life, we wish the very best for this sweet Scottish gentleman! *He will undoubtedly regrow all of his furnishings, beard and eyebrows. He was in a horrid, matted condition and had to be closely clippered. |

Dizzy (above left) and best friend, McKenzie were owner turn-ins in Austin, Texas. When they came into SAAS&WR's rescue program, there was concern that they may have to be place separately but luck was with them and they have been placed together! Good luck Dizzy and McKenzie! |
