Ader Openspace is a private owned nine acre field in the heart of Applewood Estates. There are no trees, and it is the most open field you can think of. With Fossil Creek running right through it, the only cover is in the ditch next to the creek, or in the tall grass. In the middle of the field there are two pits, one rather small. But the other is about 4 feet deep and 10X7ft wide. It is a great place to run for cover, but not very easy to go prone in. There is great cover and concealment by a bridge next to the railroad tracks (last picture). The tracks are elevated 30ft higher than the field, and allow for good observation of the whole area. . |
