"Air" Aspen

When someone looks at my horse they might think she is a little over weight, with a slight roman nose and is just a normal horse. That is what I thought of her whenever I saw her being ridden by someone else for 2 or 3 years. My opinion changed though when I was told she was for sale and I might be able to buy her.
Aspen, or Nimbles Hershe Bar had been a horse that I currently saw at horse shows in my area. She was owned by own of the people from my town and looked OK, she didn't really ever win anything but she was alway calm and looked easy to handle. The people that owned her eventually had to sell her and my mother took me to go look at her. I rode her, and she was really smooth and not that spooky, I really liked her, she did everything I asked of her. I ended up buying her. She had never been ridden english, just western speed and trail.
I competed on Aspen that first year I got her in Western and English Open Shows. I took her to Clark County Fair and we qualified for Wisconsin State 4-H show. I did take Aspen down to state, we did good but didn't win, or place at all.
I also ride Aspen in Pony Club. She jumps and does dressage. We have ridden together in Pony Club for a year, although I have been in PC longer.
Aspen is a Paint, she has 1 spot on her belly, but no one ever notices it. She is a bay with a big, wide blaze and 3 stockings. I think Aspens markings are very unique and make her look cute.
Aspen is far from perfect, she is always scared of something and doesn't get along with most horses. But that is OK because no horse is perfect!
