The Gerbing heated jacket liner and gloves have done exactly what they are meant to do - keep me warm.
Anyone can tough out most cold on a bike, but why would you when you don't have to?
Unless you're on a mission to prove something, plug in and enjoy the scenery.

The Gerbing jacket liner draws 77W but combined with the dual-control Heat Troller, the actual draw at a comfortable temperature is much less than that.  If you're ordering a jacket and gloves for use with a dual heat-Troller, make sure you let them know as the wiring is altered from the original vest.

The Gloves are good quality and warm, with or without using the heated option, and most importantly, still offer the protection of leather, like any other unheated glove.  I use them as a daily wearer and only plug in as needed.

I haven't needed the socks yet.  I'm not looking forward to when I do.
