| My name is Jess. I'm 23 and from West Virginia. I live in Westover, but pretty soon I'll be moving back to Clay County with my friend Scott. I love music of all kinds. My personal favorites are: Silverchair, Tenacious D, Missy Elliot, INXS, The Killers, The Darkness, 50 Cent, Eve, Gwen Stefani, The Black Eyed Peas, old 70's rock of any sort, Matchbox 20, Hanson (I know it's lame, but they're really good), and my new obsession Marty Casey, just to name a few. I'm equally passionate about movies. Some of my favorites are: Kill Bill 1 & 2, What About Bob?, X-Men & X-2, Drop Dead Gorgeous, any Pauley Shore movie, anything with Julia Roberts, Fantastic Four, Monster-in-law, The Exorcism of Emily Rose, The Skeleton Key, Wedding Crashers, Romy & Michelle's HS Reunion, Bring It On, Now & Then, Hocus Pocus, Sister Act 1 & 2, Signs, anything Disney or Pixar, etc. I'm originally from Clay County. I grew up in the VERY small town of Lizemore. I graduated from Clay County High School in 2000, where I was the valedictorian (brag brag brag). I haven't done a damn thing worth mentioning since I graduated, but hopefully that will change soon. My parents are David and Penny. My dad is a teacher at Clay County Middle School, and he's the football coach at CCHS. He likes to play with old car parts in my garage and pretend like he's actually working. :) His favorite hobby is mowing the grass. My mom works in the Human Resources Department of the Elkem Metals Company. She loves to sew, woodwork, and do other crafty things. I have one sister, Jennifer, who is currently in her 2nd year of orthodontics school at WVU. She and her husband, Doug, have been married for 9 years. They had their first baby, Katie, on March 27, 2003. Click here to go see her pics. Jen's pregnant with her 2nd baby, a little boy, and is due in January. I also have to mention my cousin, Josh. My aunt, Evie, had Josh after being married for something around 13 years. Josh was also born with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome, a serious heart problem. After being in the Ruby Memorial PICU for the first 6 months of his life, Josh was able to come home. He's now a healthy, happy, hyper 9 year old. He loves football and baseball, and he's really good at both. That's pretty much all that there is about me and my family. I hope you gained a little better understanding of me. :) |
