I have some Poems and Songs I wish to share with you.
I am a music freak and love most all forms of music.
The music itself usually speaks to me, however, sometimes
you run across the song lyrics that just blow you away for what they say
I have taken the time to put some lyrics to songs you may or may not know
and some poems that you may remember

Artist: Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks
Album: The Dance
Title: Crystal
Do you always trust your first initial feeling
special knowledge holds truth...bears believing
I turned around and the water was closing all around like a glove
like the love that had finally, finally found me
then I knew in the crystalline knowledge of you
drove me through the mountains
through the crystal like and clear water fountain
drove me like a magnet
to the sea
to the sea
how the faces of love have changed, i'm turning the pages
and I have changed, oh but you, you remain ageless
then I knew in the crystalline knowledge of you
drove me through the mountains
through the crystal like and clear water fountain
drove me like a magnet
to the sea
to the sea

Here are some others I love

Artist: Sarah McLachlan
Album: City Of Angels Soundtrack
Title: Angel
Spend all your time waiting for that second chance
For the break that will make it OK
There's always some reason to feel not good enough
And it's hard at the end of the day
I need some distraction or a beautiful release
Memories seep from my veins
Let me be empty and weightless and maybe
I'll find some peace tonight
In the arms of the Angel far away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent revelrie
You're in the arms of the Angel; may you find some comfort here
So tired of the straight line, and everywhere you turn
There's vultures and thieves at your back
The storm keeps on twisting, you keep on building the lies
That you make up for all that you lack
It don't make no difference, escaping one last time
It's easier to believe
In this sweet madness, oh this glorious sadness
That brings me to my knees
In the arms of the Angel far away from here
From this dark, cold hotel room, and the endlessness that you fear
You are pulled from the wreckage of your silent revelrie
In the arms of the Angel; may you find some comfort here
You're in the arms of the Angel; may you find some comfort here

Title: I Love You
I have a smile
stretched from ear to ear
to see you walking down the road
we meet at the lights
I stare for a while
the world around disappears
just you and me
on this island of hope
a breath between us could be miles
let me surround you
my sea to your shore
let me be the calm you seek
oh and every time I'm close to you
there's too much I can't say
and you just walk away
and I forgot
to tell you
I love you
and the night's
too long
and cold here
without you
I grieve in my condition
for I cannot find the strength to say I need you so
oh and every time I'm close to you
there's too much I can't say
and you just walk away
and I forgot
to tell you
I love you
and the night's
too long
and cold here
without you

If You See A Fairy Ring
If you see a fairy ring
In a field of grass,
Very lightly step around,
Tip-Toe as you pass
, Last night Fairies frolicked there
And they're sleeping somewhere near.
If you see a tiny fairy
Lying fast asleep
Shut your eyes
And run away,
Do not stay to peek!
Do not tell
Or you'll break a fairy spell

The Faerie Dance
By the moon we sport and play,
As we dance, the dew doth fall;
Trip it little urchins all,
Lightly as the little Bee,
Two by two and three by three:
And about go wee, and about go wee.
William Shakespeare
Midsummer's Night Dream

A Faery Prayer
Mist-clad in the light of the moon
Star spun seekers - I search for thee!
Faery light - I ask thy boon
Of branch and thorn and Elder tree!
Wood woven creatures, shadow weavers
River keepers - come to me!
Just beyond reaching
Never in keeping
Spirits of Faery - I call unto thee!
Wind-hewn wildness
Dark and brightness
Spiral enchantments - born of the sky!
Cradle me with eleven hands,
Abide with me, thy human child!

The Road to Fairyland
by
Ernest Thompson Seton
Do you seek the road to Fairyland
I'll tell; it's easy, quite.
Wait till a yellow moon gets up
O'er purple seas by night,
And gilds a shining pathway
That is sparkling diamond bright
Then, if no evil power be nigh
To thwart you, out of spite,
And if you know the very words
To cast a spell of might,
You get upon a thistledown,
And, if the breeze is right,
You sail away to Fairyland
Along this track of light.

Glamour....
Could make a ladye seem a knight,
A nutshell seem a gilded barge
A sheeling seem a palace large
And youth seem age and age seem youth
All was delusion, nought was truth.
(The Lay of the Last Minstrel - Reginald Scot)

The Hosting of the Sidhe
by William Butler Yeats
The host is riding from Knocknarea
And over the grave of Clooth-na-bare;
Caolte tossing his burning hair,
And Niamh calling: Away, come away;
Empty your heart of its mortal dream.
The winds awaken, the leaves whirl round,
Our cheeks are pale, our hair is unbound,
Our breasts are heaving, our eyes are a-gleam,
Our arms are waving, our lips are apart;
And if any gaze on our rushing band,
We come between him and the deed of his hand--
We come between him and the hope of his heart.
The host is rushing 'twixt night and day
And where is there hope or deed as fair?
Caolte tossing his burning hair,
And Niamh calling: Away, come away.

Title: Landslide
I took my love and I took it down
Climbed a mountain then I turned around
And I saw my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide brought me down
Oh, mirror in the sky
What is love?
Can the child within my heart rise above
Can I sail through the changing ocean tides
Can I handle the seasons of my life
Uh ah ... uh ah ....
Well, I've been afraid of changin'
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Children get older
And I'm getting older too
Well ...
Well, I've been afraid of changin'
'Cause I've built my life around you
But time makes you bolder
Children get older
I'm getting older too
Well, I'm getting older too
So, take this love, take it down
If you climb a mountain and turn around
And If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well the landslide will brought it down
If you see my reflection in the snow covered hills
Well maybe ... the landslide will bring it down.
Well maybe ... the landslide will bring it down.
Well maybe ... the landslide will bring it down.
The landslide will bring it down.
