Rescues Available in Texas

Harry was rescued from a DFW area SPCA in November. Harry is small for the breed at 28 pounds. He is approximately 7 years old. Harry was undoubtedly a family pet at some point in his past life. He is house, crate and leash trained. He also responds to most basic commands such as sit, stay, come, etc. Harry came to us with serious coat and skin problems. He is currently being treated for these and is responding well to the treatments. He also suffers from allergies and will probably have to get shots to control them every 4 to 6 weeks for the rest of his life. Harry is not yet ready for adoption but when he is, the family who makes him a part of their forever family will be a very lucky family! Check back for progress reports or e-mail his foster family for updates.

Frazer is lovely darker kees that was picked up as a stray in the Plano area of Dallas. He has wonderful manners and is gentle with everyone. He's a darker kees, but part of that is because of the shedding of his undercoat when he was initially groomed after being rescued. Frazer is current with his vaccinations, on heartworm preventative, and neutered. His age is approximately 6 yrs old. For more information, feel free to contact Pam Hibbetts for more information.

Macy is an absolutely adorable puppy! She is approximately 6 months old and has boundless ‘puppy’ energy and an abundance of affection. She has a very sweet temperament and a winning personality. She loves playing with children and other dogs but also adores just curling up in your lap for some attention or a nap! Like most small children, Macy is either going full tilt ahead or sound asleep! She is crate trained but doesn’t particularly care for it. Macy’s not completely housebroken yet but is making progress daily. She is spayed, up-to-date on her shots, and is heartworm negative and on preventative. Macy is currently being treated for intestinal worms but will be ready for adoption as soon as the final medication is administered (within a week). Email her foster family for more information.
