***The scene opens in the airport located near Little Rock, Arkansas where a plane from Canada has just arrived. The people depart the plane, and head toward the baggage claim. The camera focuses in on a bag where the zipper is half open. Inside the bag, there is a flash of light shining off of something golden inside the bag. A man notices the bag, and walks up to the owner of the bag. He punches him in the arm as if the two are buddies, and begins to talk to him.*** NRO - Eric, I told you already, you have to leave this at home. It was a gift from Christie and I for everything you've done for us. Now next time you go back to Toronto, leave it with your fish or something, just stop dragging it around! TXEB - Rob, listen, I loved that place, and this is the only memento that I have to remember it by. The least you could do is respect the fact that I have the balls to bring something from a failed dream to a different place. The AIW was like a home to me man, you know that, I'd do anything for the two of you, so please, let me bring it once more after this? NRO - No man, this is the last time, no more dreams of the AIW re-opening, no more dreams of you actually winning that title from me in the cage, because you and I both know, I would have destroyed you. TXEB - Hardly old man! I would have taken you to school, sat you in a desk, taught you everything from the book I wrote, and then made you stay after school to clean my chalkboards! Suck on that one Robby boy! NRO - Get your head out of your ass and concentrate on what you've got coming next kid, RWA World Title Tournament. This could be one of your last chances to win a World Title before you retire. Unless you're like me, then you'll never retire, just like a Ric Flair, only my time was never up. I carried your rookie ass in those matches and you know it. TXEB - Whatever you say man, I thought I was the one that carried your old lumpy ass, but you're right. I have to get down and dirty, and start concentrating on my first round opponent for Wednesday night, Deathstrike. I haven't heard about this guy, ever, so I don't know what to expect. Have you heard of him Rob? NRO - No dude, he's new to me too, but you have to fight better than you did at the Pay-Per-View, thats for sure. You kinda sucked out in that match for the Universal Title, but I guess it just wasn't your time. TXEB - I just had other things on my mind. Like this tournament, brings me back you know. Back in the AWF, when we'd have yearly tournaments, and damn skippy, I won those, but that's nothing compared to the new guys that have super ass talent here in RWA. I think Jay Gamble was the man to win that Universal Title, he deserved it more than I did. It was a great match yes, not only because the Universal Champion was crowned, but because I was in that match man! What an impact! NRO - You sure are full of yourself, cocky, yet slightly confident, which has me worried. Whenever your confident, you seem rather crazy dude, are you going to be alright? TXEB - Of course Rob! Have some damn faith in me man! I can handle myself, plus the doctor said I don't have to take those pills anymore, so it's that much better! Deathstrike has another thing coming to him though. He's never been in the ring one on one with "The Xtreme One" like you have. You know everything that I'm going to do Rob, he doesn't. That is what makes this that much more sweet. He won't suspect a thing in that squared circle. By the way, have you talked with Donovan about coming here? NRO - Not as of yet, I heard he's looked into the RWA though, wouldn't that be sweet! Like a reunion or something. Oh well bro, we better get going to the hotel, I told Christie that I'd call her and see if she had that baby yet. I hope not, she better wait until I get back home. TXEB - Trust me, she hasn't had it yet. It still has eight months to brew and bubble and boil in her stomach before it pops out and you have another child, ready to start training for the ring. Speaking of training, I haven't trained since the PPV, oh well, we best be on our way, so I can rest before my confronting match with Deathstrike, when I move on in the tournament, one step closer to the belt that I will eventually possess to take place of this one. ***Eric reaches in his bag, and pulls out the AIW World Title and puts it over his shoulder. Rob Osbourne shakes his head at him as the two walk out of baggage claim and into the parking lot where the awaiting limosine takes them to a local Little Rock hotel. The scene fades to black as the two peel off into the sunlight.*** |

What Dreams Were Made of...but what will the future hold? Perhaps a new title to take it's place? |
