Mission and Goals

Our Mission: Texas Gamma Sigma's Mission is to Share the Gift which lights the way to Alpha Delta Kappa Involvement.

G.I.F.T.

Our Goals:

Giving through altruistism and increased growth Opportunities. Innovativative ways to raise funds for Scholarship and Altruism. Fellowship/Sharing/Caring Totally committed to World Understanding Through monthly programs and fraternal education

Altruism--Sharing a Gift of Alpha Delta Kappa During the 2001-2003 biennium, there have been 1,803,668 hours of service, $3,974,855 in monetary gifts, $1,698,725 in scholarships; toal altruistic monetary gifts totaled $9,122,027.

Meetings at 7 PM, except for auctions (6:30 pm) and brunch (10:30)

October, 2009 Program Founders' Day Celebration/ ADK Month

December, 2009 Meeting: Hostess- All sisters bring auction item and a refreshment to share. Also encourage guests to attend. Program: Katheryne Lewis Winter Auction

Local Chapter Scholarship Students completing their last year of education courses/student teaching, use the link above to print & send completed form to Kathy Smith, 5407 Jason Drive, Arlington, Texas 76016-2953 or email to: pkathysmith@hotmail.com State Level For ADK members attending conferences, workshops, etc: http://www.texas.alphadeltakappa.org/txminimetscholarform.PDF Send above completed form for Mini-MET to State President by Feb. 25th. Regional Level--applications are available from S.C. Regional Scholarship Chairman. January 31st is the deadline for submitting the Regional Professional Development Scholarship Application. Mini-scholarships are due October 15 for activities that will occur from November thru April, and February 15 for activities that will occur from April thru November. District Level District 1 ADK Scholarship Application that can be used for college tuition, workshops or seminars. Please send downloaded application completed to -----.
