" Imprisoned In Solitude"

Imprisoned in your solitude

Wondering how things went so wrong

Why didn’t I see the warning signs?

How you must have hurt inside

Dying right before my eyes

Stabbing pains into your soul

For that which you adored and hated

Intertwining nightmares

Turning into reality

Couldn’t you have trusted more?

Couldn’t you have walked away

And you did, forevermore

And now my flesh feels like its flaming

And my heart, it seeks your vengeance

Things you said in secrecy

Never to come to light

Eternal day has turned to nite

In this hell that is my life

Because my life is without you

And all you did was love too much

Why couldn’t you have walked away

Nothing good has come of this

The dawn is bringing pestilence

You have hidden evermore

You had always mastered that

Hidden deep within your hurt

If I could do it all again

If I could turn back time itself

I would take you far from yourself

I would be your savior

You fulfilled what you set out to do

You escaped the hell

My heart is screaming for you

Yet in peaceful, solitude you reside

Until we meet again

I love you.
