What is TSCA?

TSCA
is a division of the Texas Counseling Association (TCA), a large
association of Texas counselors who are represented in 11 different
divisions.

TSCA
is the division of TCA that addresses the needs of the professional school
counselor.

TSCA
is a chartered state division of the American School Counselor
Association (ASCA) which is associated with the American Counseling
Association (ACA). ASCA seeks to improve the school counseling
profession at the national level.
How can a counselor join TSCA?

To join
TSCA, a professional must first join TCA.

There are two
levels of membership for a school counselor who wishes to join TCA and
TSCA –
Regular
membership: TCA dues ($90) + TSCA dues ($20) = $110
or
Platinum membership: TCA dues ($90) + professional
liability insurance for a counselor in a public/private
school ($95) + TSCA dues ($20) = $205
Current
member of TCA: Just add TSCA as a division for $20.
