| It was October 2000 when I bought a Legal Eagle project that was already started. Here it is, still attached to the building board. The dream of building and flying my own airplane was one step closer to coming true. (That's "Das Bus", my 1971 VW in the background.) The project had a partially tack welded fuselage, all 24 ribs, spruce spar material, partially built tail feathers, a pile of VW engine parts, prop hub a and new propeller. (And a partridge in a pear tree.) |
