Collegiate FFA is a form of membership of the National FFA Organization that enhances the collegiate experience through service and building leaders.  Throughout the year our club sponsors a prospect show that allows FFA and 4-H students in the sourrounding area to exhibit their animals before going to county and major shows.  We also assist in the Meat and Greet at the Texas State Freeman Ranch which is a departmental welcome to all former and incoming students.  Other activities include traveling to Area 7 LDE (Leadership Development Events) and CDE (Career Development Events) contests to assist in scoring and room monitoring, hosting a CDE contest and Range contest, and attending the FFA State Convention during the summer.  This organization allows students to build strong friendships and a future in agriculture.
