Grace is now 2 years old!  We celebrated with a family party at Chuck E Cheese last week, and she'll have a party at the park with friends this Friday.  The outdoor party was postponed due to rain, rain and more rain.  Grace has been talking more and more and surprises us with new words and sentences daily.   She went to the doctor for her 2 year check-up and really let me know that she didn't want to be there.  What a difference between the 18mth check (still acting like a baby) and the 2 year visit where she thought her opinion should count for something.  After the doctor finished with her and moved on to Jack, she was all smiles and friendly.  She is 35 inches tall (95%) and 27 pounds (50%).  The doctor said not to worry about her picky eating habits and that she is ready to get more molars.  Does this mean more drooling...ugh?!?

Jack is now 6 months old.  He is rolling around lots, but hates to be on his tummy.  He is almost sitting up, but the doctor said this could take awhile because he is so tall.  He was 28 1/4 inches tall (95%) and 19 lbs 3 oz (75%) at his visit.  Basically, he is the size of an average 9 month old.  He is still nursing and not interested in cereal.  I am trying some other foods, but not so worried about it now that he has started sleeping better at night.  Generally he sleeps 5-7 hours in a stretch now at night, eats and then another long stretch.  Jack's eyes are getting more and more brown, and he has lots of blondish-brown hair now.  He is just such a sweet baby!
