Cykle comes home!!!
I went to PetSmart to purchase her. It was the second store and 5th or 6th 'home' that I tried. The main reason I chose her was that she was all white and had a definite attitude. She kept fighting to go back to sleep when the girl tried to pick her up. It's what I do as well. I hate being awoken from a sound sleep. And PetSmart has all their animals vet checked and guaranteed, so that made me feel better as well.
When I got her home I made up her cage all pretty and put the little potty and treats and food and water and everything in, and she decides to go on an exploration of the underside of our couch instead! Put up a hell of a fight with me before I got her in the cage. Then she proceeded to kick all the litter out of the potty, kick the bedding into the food bowl, and almost get her chubby self stuck in the tubing in the cage. She finally started to settle down, and since I haven't gotten a little house yet, decided that the portable carry case on top is her house. She's already got a stockpile of food up there.
She hasn't found the wheel yet, I guess I'll hear it when she does. She has an awful little screech when she's scared, so I've gone and left her alone for a bit to help her calm down. We're awake a lot at night anyways, so I'm not worried about that, it's just nice to know I'm not alone in the house all day.

Cykle's Home!
Went out and picked up another Crittertrail Outlook today (29 June 2005). Attached a small tube to the side to connect it up to the other unit. I put her little bath house and the plastic log in it, as well as some treats, hopefully that will allow her to have a bit more room to run around in.

21 June 2005: Found the underside of the couch and refused to come out again. Took a whole 20 minutes for me to recapture her, and then I had to use a towel to pick her up as she kept acting like an acrobat on the couch. Man, does she hate towels!
