Real estate barons turned
philanthropists. Tom and Caleb Chan continue on path of father Chan
Shun, who was instrumental in teaching them to give back to the
community. Donated $10 million to University of British Columbia and
built some 18 Seventh Day Adventist churches all over the world.
Burrard International Holdings Inc., owner of golf course
development company Golf BC, has built 10 courses that have hosted
the likes of Jack Nicklaus, Tiger Woods and Fred Couples. Also
allowed Caleb to work on his already respectable handicap of 15.

Real Estate Fund Manager has assisted the Chan
family in a number of real estate transactions in Canada including
the purchase and sale of the Hotel
Georgia, as well as sale of
Seafair Shopping Centre in Richmond BC and sale of units in Eugenia
Place on the waterfront of Beach Avenue.
