Brown Eyed Women was playing as I was cruising through the hallway. All of a sudden I heard a crash. A man wrapped in a blanket and dressed head to toe in a moto-cross outfit (helmet, arm pads, etc!) jumped through one of those huge plate glass windows they have at the Oakland Coliseum (indoor). He dropped the blanket and disappeared into the crowd. There was someone sitting at the window inside the hall who stood up with terror in his eyes as shower of glass cascaded down over his whole body. I remember it like it was yesterday. The arena staff boarded up the "hole" and that was that. The incredible thing
about the whole event was that the crasher worked alone-No one else ran in behind him! It kinda freaked me out!
