Hey there,
My name is Joy, and I am 16 years old. Here is my story. Its funny and weird. You might think i am nuts, but hey oh well. Things can happen! This is short and sweet.
    So here goes:

I was on a Ski-Snowboard Trip with my sophomore class last year. We went to Smugglers Notch in Vermont. (Some of you may have been there and some may have not). Anyway, it was around 4 in the afternoon. My friends and I were about to take our last run, and we decided to take the chair lift that takes you to the very top of the mountain. (stupid idea, it was below zero and vermont is phreezing!) So we did, it was about a 10 minute ride to the top. As we were coming towards the top, there was a part where you go up this steep hill and you cant see anything beyond that point. The chair lift was going over a part of the mountain that was NO TRAIL just a bunch of snow and rocks, if you looked to the left and right of you from a distance there were trails. Well, I was sitting with my friend Casey, it was so cold we couldn't even talk. We sat there looking straight ahead itching to get to the top. All of a sudden.....right as we were about to go beyond the point where you actually can see....some guy came out of now where in a flash! I said "Oh my god...ca-ca-casey ! Did you just see that!?" It was the weirdest thing in my life. This random guy had on a long trenchcoat, these weird looking skies, he had a whitish-gray beard, glasses, rosy cheeks (from the cold), and was a little butterball (haha). I remember that he looked up at us and then, seriously, disappeared out of no where in the matter of 3 minutes. Magic! I said to my friend " That was Jerry fuckin'-Garcia man!" I wouldn't shut up all day long, I just couldn't believe my eyes, and I still talk about it to this day. Its now about a year and a half later. So thats my "so-called" encounter with Jerry. (weird, isn't it ?)

Thats my story. You may post it on your page if you would like, if not its all good...
no worries. I just though I would share this with you and fellow friends for the hell of it :) Take care. Peace
~Joy
