Okay this my first Phish show and its like two hours away from my house, in hartford. All my buddies are telling me that this is going to be better than the usual phish show since its my first show (in past experiences every first show has been good for our buddies). Well first we got there and i emediatly find a man with a large box of glass peices and i find the exact type i want and buy it. So now i dont know what to name my bowl...i decide that the first caracter that Trey names during the show i will name my peice after. We get there and get in our seats...and theres a bird flying throughout the civic center. Were sitting there waiting and we see this guy drinking vodka about three rows ahead. He comes over and asks us if we want smoke some weed and breaks out his little dug-out that a fake cigarette and we all hit it. He tells us that he wants to see lizards then he sing this little drunken mans song: "I come from the land of lizards i come from the land of fun....and my son died at birth last week, that really happened" ( and he tells us about it, then he says) " well this should be a good time, what song do u guys wanna hear?" My brother tells him he wants to see divided sky. This is about when the show begen to start.
They opened with heavy things, then into AC/DC bag...there it is the first caractor....mr palmer is the name of my bowl! Now they do strange design. Then it happened.. Trey tells everyone that its gonna be an awsome show cause his grandfather died and hes doing it for him. AAAAAAH DIVIDED SKY THE WIND BLOWS HIGH.... i was in shock i was in pain....i was stoned off ym ass and i really couldnt even feel my self move but oh man do i love that song. Then the guy comes back AND tapps my brother and goes....."im feeling it for ya man"....now the rest of the show was unbeleivable......antelope, makisupa, 40 minute drowned, ext.... Then i bought a goo ball on my way a out and it really was the greatest show ever.
