This was my first show at Polaris in Columbus, it was the 1998 show. My friends and I got pavilion seats and settled in for the show. All of us were tripping balls and grooving to the band. We deciced to light up a floater and pass it around. I get the joint lit and about two seconds later a security guard comes by and asks me to put it out. I had heard a lot of bad things about the security in Columbuys and thought i was going to get busted. the security guard takes the doobie and then just walks off. There was a "boo" from the crowd around us expressing there feelings on the matter. Brushing it off we start to jam again. Five minutes later the same security guard comes back with a bigger scarier looking guard and taps me on the shoulder. I thougt for sure i was going to get kicked out this time, but the guard HANDS ME BACK THE JOINT, and tells me to be more careful. He takes off we light up and pass it around for all to enjoy. What a cool scene.
