| Wednesday, October 1, 2003 No update on the mysterious abdominal pain. I had an ultrasound today but it sounds like the radiologist didn’t find anything unusual because she asked me if I was getting married. WHAT?! She thought that what I was going through might be stress from planning my so-called wedding. Nope, it’s just work. I wonder what next steps my doctor will take. It’s been two weeks of not being able to take deep breaths or do anything more active than a relaxed walk. I am not happy. At least I don’t have much of an appetite or else my unhappiness would be compounded with weight gain. On a lighter note, it’s been fun chatting with work clients in the other states. I’ve found new buddies in South Carolina, Montana, Colorado, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Chicago, and California. It’s so nice to be able to do work-related stuff but have fun while I’m at it. It definitely takes a lot more time but balance is a good thing. |
