Dad called me to thank me for my role in getting his Kubota tractor.  He ordered his new toy in early December and was given the end of the month as the ETA including the week they'd need to customize it.  We stopped by the Kubota-authorized dealer a couple weeks ago only to be disappointed.  Well, dad was disappointed.  We were more or less curious.  So, like any dutiful daughter, I found Kubota's website and emailed their customer service for a status on his order.

The tractor finally arrived today and dad sounded like a little boy on Christmas Day.  He was gushing about the tractor and that Kubota had finally replied to my email explaining why it was late.  Apparently, he had been operating it all day and told me that the next time I’m home, he’ll show me how to use it.  It’s apparently the Chu family heirloom to be inherited by whoever needs it.  I'll be sure to take a picture of me in the tractor and post it whenever that happens.
