Chameleons have crested heads and curling tails, they are superbly constructed for life in the trees. they have opposite toes on all four feet, which give them firm footing on even the slimmest branches. Their unique eyes and tongue apparatus allow the lizards to zero in with deadly accuracy on grasshoppers and other insects they love to eat. Chameleons have the ablity to alter their color to match the background they are in, their colours range from a pale green to a pale green to emerald to bronw to grey to a black. they change from many different colours, but the changes of colour are from the mood they are in , from them being to hot in the sun to being to cold in the shade, from attacking something to being attacked.
