is Inter Celtic?
nter
Celtic is a constructed language, or ConLang.A constructed language is
one that has been created by a person, rather than one which has developed
by itself. Languages which develope by themselves are called NatLangs,
which stands for Natural languages or, National languages.
ational languages
or, NatLangs take millenia to develope naturally, whereas, a ConLang can
be 'created' in a matter of years by a person or, a group of people.
n
example of a ConLang that is used today might be Esperanto or Indonesian.
Modern German is also a language that did not occur naturally but, was
devised by a committee of people who used the various forms of German that
existed to devise a 'standard' German.
nter
Celtic is a constructed language that uses the six modern Celtic languages,
Gaelic (Scottish) Irish, Welsh, Manx, Cornish, and Breton as sources to
create a new, simplifed completely regular form of Celtic speech, that,
hopefully would be easily understood by any native speaker of a Celtic
language with a minimum amount of study.
nter
Celtic exists solely for the pleasure of those people who enjoy creating
ConLangs and also as a statement to those people who create Interlanguages
for the European Union who, seem to have forgotten, that, there are many
languages in Europe that are not Romance Languages!
