THE DENTIST
The most fun you could ever hope to have with a dentist

Poor Dr. Feinstone. He can't find his diamond cufflinks, he's being audited, and as if that weren't enough stress to lump on him in one morning, the pool cleaner's getting sucked off by every chick on the block, and you can bet he's not skipping the Feinstone house.

I wasn't sure what to think of this one as I brought it home from the store - "Did I just rent 'Dr. Giggles with a little drill'"? Thankfully, the answer is...no. This movie's hilarious. Corbin Bernsen swallows the screen whole as an increasingly stressed dentist who occasionally rants about filth and decay, and takes out his frustrations on...well, whoever. There's even a clever little bit in the screenplay involving the name "Dennis". Chances are, you'll miss it. (hint: it kinda sounds like "Dentist", but it's used almost as a throwaway line)

Lots of really icky moments involving some amateurish dental surgery, sure to make you squirm while laughing at the same time. The most unsettling of which is when the doc slashes up a man with a knife on a sidewalk - just the way it's filmed from straight above is sure to make you almost want to rewind it and watch it again.  Okay, maybe this really is nothing more than Dr. Giggles with an oral fixation. I don't care. It was a lot of fun. Eew.
