Yes, fellow headbangers, that is Bruce Dickinson (with his old band Samson) that pops up about halfway through this weird Canadian flick from 1981. Isn't that cool?
The New England town of Galen is rocked by a series of bizarre, brutal murders, and even more bizarre and brutal rapes. A cop, a doctor, and a pain-in-the-ass journalist try to get to the bottom of things.
Nobody can say this one's boring. Things just don't stop happening. And as such, the fast pace makes the film go by pretty quickly.
It's often quite creepy too, but also pretty unpleasant. I mean, how many times can you hear the words "ruptured uterus" without running to the can?
This one looks like it's been almost universally maligned, but I found it surprisingly effective and unsettling. Even if it weren't, I guess it's a must-see for Maiden/Bruce fans, isn't it?
