THE MUTILATOR
Owa Tapee Sacrap

When the mastermind behind your movie is named Buddy, you've already got problems. "Buddy Cooper, Master of Suspense" doesn't exactly sound credible.

A young boy, trying to clean his father's gun collection for his birthday, accidentally kills his mom (oops). About fifteen years later, when he's a young man bringing all his horny friends to the family condo, a mad slasher kills 'em all, surprise, surprise.

The best thing about this movie is the great tag line: "By sword. By pick. By axe. Bye bye." Too bad we can't actually SEE these sword/pick/axe murders, because not only is everything lit so dimly that you can barely tell what's going on, but the gore is so terribly cut that...well, you can tell even less what's going on. I'm not kidding. Anybody who can explain to me what happened there at the end is welcome to try.

It's my understanding that the uncut version is a lot more gruesome, particularly in a murder where one unlucky lass gets a really big hook in pretty much the last place any woman would want one.  This R-rated version barely hints at what's going on here.

Just plain bad, guys. Life's too short to sit through something like this.
