Disbanded for lack of interest in the good guilds (may they all rot and die) The first meeting was a great success and I thank everyone who attended for their time and patience. We discussed the main issue of pking, looting, and roleplaying. I shall be posting the information from the meeting and those that attended. Hopefully we shall recruit more to the Council's cause. Please feel free to email me any comments or information you would like added to the site, and check back frequently for news. 11/7/03 Meeting 1 Representatives from the DNM, LK, Mot, recently disbanned R guild, and a few others I shall update when I check the roaster attended the meeting. Each guild was respectful and cooperative in the attempt to formulate the current issues regarding pking, looting, and roleplaying as well as some guidelines that will hopefully help to solve these problems. Due to the lack of active roleplayers things have began to get out of hand. Many people play unhonorably and claim that they are roleplaying when it is unclear if they truely are or they are just being greedy and taking advantage of those weaker then they. Since many of us wish to roleplay properly, both sides of the cause (good and evil) those in attendance at the Council have agreed upon a few guidelines with regards to roleplaying. These guidelines we plan to implement when interact with those guilds that are participating in the World Council. For those guilds and individuals that are not we have agreed to use caution and some good judgement when deciding to roleplay our interaction with them. This will help to prevent those that are unfamiliar with roleplaying or those that do not wish to rp not to be put out. And for those who do wish to rp it will make life a little easier and hopefully rally some more people to our cause. 1.) Each guild should have a website or place that their guilds rules on pking is listed so that each guild in the World Council may read those and become familiar with them. This way noone can claim that they did not know what would happen when they interacted with that particular guild. This is to help prevent grief playing and promote more rping among the guilds. 2.) With regards to the first guideline, we are asking that each guilds pking and looting rules be as clear as possible and that the guild abides and follows their own rules at all times. It is not to prevent looting completely, which is a part of rping and guilds of different aligments and wars. It is to make things more clear for those wishing to participate. 3.) All the participating guilds have also agreed to not abuse bugs and to report them to the developers at once and take action against those who are abusing them. This way if we all stand together against those who would make this world unsafe we shall push them back and make them think twice about bug abusing and cheating to get ahead. In this case all guilds have also agreed to help one another in time of bug abusers attacking them. This means that each guild regardless of alignment, wars, or current enemies that is participating in the PWC should lay those differences aside to help and aid another fellow guild of the PWC in action against bug abusers and cheaters. This way we all stand together. If I have missed any information about the meeting please let me know. I again thank you all for attending and your input with regard to the current issues. Hopefully at the next meeting we shall see more guilds attending. The next meeting shall address the issues of the coming of construction, claiming of lands, actions against non PWC guilds (what to do when interacting with them), roleplaying of evil vs good guilds, and any other issues that anyone wishes to address. Any guilds that wish to join or have thier information posted on the PWC website please pm = tanish1 or email me tanish1@aol.com their information that they would like posted, and a link to their guilds website. |
