New Recruits
Welcome on behalf of Tyr.  I hope this will answer all your questions about the Tyr guild.  Our main purpose is listed on home page and in the rules, so the purpose of this page is to make sure you understand the rules.  Any new recruit will start out with the status level of peasant regardless of level or skill.  Everyone must work thier way up in the guild equally.  The more you help out, get along, and follow the rules, the faster you will move up in the guild.

Some information that you will be asked to provide once within the guild will include:
Overall level: needed for status level changes
Any skills that you wish to be considered for the marshal position or would just like to be listed needs to be provided as well.

I must stress though not to bother the guild leader or marshals about your status level, or awarding of magic items.  Those will be done according to the rules and your status within the guild.  He is always watching or has others watching so he knows most of what goes on in the Dransik.  There also is no borrowing of weapons from guild except for guild hunts which will only be done by the guild leader.  You must also be a craftsmen level or higher to be able to borrow a weapon for the hunt.  This is nothing personal, just new people are just that, new people to the guild.

You may purchase magic items from the guild if you do not wish to wait for your status level to improve.  All sales will be done through the leader or treasurers, and if the guild has extras to spare.  The prices will be listed and thus non-negotiable.

We also have specialty guilds within Tyr.  These are to help people to become masters in skills and to maximize the experience people get from doing skills.  The information on the specialty guild is posted on the webpage, the link is through the members page.

I hope this and the rules answer any questions you may have about Tyr.  If not, then just seek out the guild leader and he shall answer any additional questions you have.
