Elizabeth
married Missouri gold miner, Joseph
Cooper, for whom Cooper Landing, Alaska, is named. Elizabeth bore seven
children, Frank, Charles, Matrona (Resoff), Irene (Leman), Alfred (my grandfather),
Gladys (Deitz), and Andrew. After Mr. Cooper died, she married Steve Ivanovich
Churkin, from Odonchino, Russia. They lived in the village of Ninilchik.
