New Moon Ritual why: The Ritual of the " NEW MOON "
Is a time for honoring the Virgin within Nature. The wild, the untouched, the untainted. It is a time when you bring the self awareness to the beginning of a new Moon to assist in the fight to against greed and the selfish people of the world, that harm and or have become selfish in their wants.
Or needs for personal gains.Not honoring our Rede as guide " An It Harm None." These are the people that have wronged or wandered from reasons of ..... This Moon phase is when the bindings and such are at their strongest to work upon..


The Ritual:
When setting you altar include # 3 white candles ( or your choice color ) to represent the 3 moon phases. And a small pail of """MOTHER EARTH."""
Seat yourself in front of the alter and take your athame and draw circle around the circumference of the circle until you have reached the completed circle. Start at the east..and finish here
..Face the north and draw the invoking pentagram in the air inviting your guardians to attend . Consecrate the water and mix in some Salt. ""Draw the invoking Pentagram upon thy forehead and and while doing this use a self blessing "".
You may also ask the Virgin Goddess to come and bless this rite
At this point assuming you have lit the candles approach the altar and take you Athame run it through the flames of the 3 candles and then run it through the water and then stick it in the earth. And here is where I would say """" As the mounting tide of the Moon waxes to Full may also the forces of my spell grow. May the knowledge of my craft grow as do the phases of the Lady Moon The Virgin Goddess and the Elements of Harmony . Let no person steer me from my ways or rites. May the chance to grow in harmony be upon all. At this point I would take the time for meditation on my path and then proceed to go on with other business if required in the craft and of my practice. At the end of your work remember to to Thank the Goddess for her guidance and to release the Elements for attending.
( note some think that you should put away the extra candles before commencing with the regular work to be done within your cast circle..But I believe that the circle has been cast and the Ritual may have been for the new Moon but the power contained will be of great help to you as you work.)
