Tracy Zaparanick is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Certified Compassion Fatigue Specialist. She is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program in the College of Social Work at the University of Tennessee - Knoxville.
She worked at Tuskegee University's School of Veterinary Medicine in the Center for the Study of Human Animal Interdependent Relationships from 1999 to 2002.
She facilitated individual, family and group therapy in a variety of settings in Kentucky, North Carolina and Alabama. She has served as an American Red Cross Mental Health Volunteer since 1994.
After successfully training through the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation, Inc., she began teaching two of its courses (1) Basic Critical Incident Stress Management and (2) Assisting Individuals in Crisis.
Tracy also worked part-time as a veterinary assistant in a small animal practice in Charlotte, NC.
She earned her BA degree in a Social Work in 1989 from the University of Kentucky and her MS degree in Social Work in 1992 from the University of Louisville. |
