This year (RY769), so far:

  • The appearance of the New Star.
    > First appeared above the city of Sijan shortly after Calibration and moved south, travelling over Nexus and Constant.
    > It has been determined to be the legendary flying fortress Cruithne.

  • The disappearance of the Chosen of Journeys Two Tiers of Dust.
    > Vanished while in Nexus on a mission to discover what the New Star was.
    > It was discovered he had been captured by a Deathlord and/or Deathknights.

  • The theft of one of the Peaches of Immortality.
    > Stolen by the Air spirit Qwertyuiop and smuggled out of Yu-Shan with the unknowing assistance of the Chosen of Secrets Resplendent Water Sutra and the Chosen of Endings Zephon.
    > In Creation Qwertyuiop was killed by persons unknown and the Peach of Immortality stolen.
    > The Celestial Censor Meggido charged Resplendent Water Sutra and Zephon with its recovery, or they would be punished as accomplices to its theft.
    > Resplendent Water Sutra recovered the Peach of Immortality from the hands of the Terrestrial King Mnemon Alexius, but it was then returned to Creation to be eaten by Alexius in order that the winning side in the subsequent Battle of Constant be changed.

  • The death of the Chosen of Endings Zephon.
    > Killed by Arzeckhi barbarians while 'in the field.'

  • The discovery of illegal activities allegedly carried out by the Chosen of Endings Azræl.
    > He is accused of deliberately hiding and/or stealing archive documents of the Forbidding Manse of Ivy, over the period of a number of decades.
    > The full extent and nature of these crimes are unknown. Azræl cannot be found, and the Bronze Faction can prevent a full Celestial Audit from being carried out until he is.
    > At first he was thought to be using Astrology to hide, but Resplendent Water Sutra suggested he may be in the Underworld, and agents are now working on that basis.
    > His capture is in the hands of the Celestial Censors and their agents in the Bureau of Heaven, not the Sidereals or the Bureau of Destiny.

  • The arrival in Yu-Shan of an Abyssal Exalted ambassador.
    > On the 1st day of Descending Earth an envoy from the Deathlord Mask of Winters arrived through the Nexus gate.
    > Under constant guard by the Celestial Lions, he spoke with representatives from the Bureau of Destiny.
    > He departed after almost two days of talks.
