Hometown/where you graduated hs.- Soldotna, AK at Soldotna High School Year and Major- Jr/Sr. at Restaurant and Resort Management, Minor in Small Business Management Hobbies/interests- Snowmachining, going to the spa, scrapbooking, kayaking, working-out, watching re-runs of Friends episodes, eating Fudge Tracks ice cream, cooking anything gourmet, helping others, the company of good friends and good wine, making people laugh, and goofing off with family members. Why you like ASA- Alpha Sigma Alpha aids in building lasting relationships and strong bonds of sisterhood and friendship between women, instills good morals and values in each member, and encourages young women to achieve their goals. The foundation develops women of astute character, encouraging them to grow into responsible adults and into women of esteemed poise and purpose. Why you joined- ASA provides active involvement on campus as well as strong involvement throughout the community by focusing on two main philanthropic activities, the Special Olympics and S. June Smith Center for mentally-challenged children. Alpha Sigma Alpha’s give freely and aid in helping these organizations provide a light for adults and children of all ages in need. Also, the Alpha Sigma Alpha foundation focuses on spiritual, physical, social, and intellectual development, which minister to young women, creating women with superior work ethic, motivation, and communal qualities attained by being members in this organization. Fun fact- When I was six years, old I told my mother I wanted to marry a man with a beard but no mustache (looks like my knight in shining armor is going to be an Amish man).
