| The family went to Great Wolf lodge for vacation with the Leland Family. Had so much fun, wish Ernesto could have joined us,but Navy schedules are crazy and the fun must go on! We had a kids' suite which included bunkbeds in a seperate room for the kids with tv and Nintendo. |

So we did the tourist thing, had to knock these two off of our to-do list, along with taking an overpriced ferry ride to Whidbey Island and visiting the original Starbucks in Seattle. I prefer Seattle's Best! Been there, Done that...NEXT! |
| Ho Ho Ho! Kids with the Space Needle Santa in Seattle. Leavenworth, WA The Leland and Rivera families vacationed together in Leavenworth for the Bavarian Winter festival. We had a blast and got to play in the snow! Here Renee and I are after a great Mexican dinner. |

| Spring/ Easter 2009 For this Easter we made Cascarones and dyed Easter eggs with the Leland Family. We went to a local Carnival with the kids and Sunday morning Diego, Ileanna & Anna went to Easter Mass. Ernesto & Netito stayed home because Netito was feeling sick. But luckily, just as mass ended, he made a miraculous recovery ... hmmm? suspicious! Then we were off to the Leland's Home for an Easter dinner. Anna made capirotada and some side dishes. The Dinner & Company were both wonderful and after we were ready for a nap. Good thing we were just across the street! |
