Probably the most capable pilots I have ever seen during my
career. Pilots who had very limited means to go by and yet
always managed to get there and back in one piece, including
their aircraft , crew and passengers. All in one piece !!!! In
some places the Flight Attendants were their extra pairs of
eyes looking for that airport in a sand storm that just blew up.
Being thousands of miles away from base and in a
unhospitable enviroment we all knew that there was only one
place to land...in that sand storm. |
