INDEPENDENT POSTAL ADMINISTRATION

(POST OFFICES)

On November 1st, 1967, the third post office was opened in Al Ain in Buraimi area (Now in Oman). Four different types of cancels were used in Al Ain post office, the small circle cancel (Type 11), Al Ain oval registered cancel (Type 12), Al Ain Parcel cancel (Type 13) and Al Ain circle cancel (Type 14).

The post offices in Abu Dhabi during Independent Postal Administration are:-

· Abu Dhabi Post Office

· Das Island Post Office

· Al Ain Post Office
