SHARJAH 60 ON 75 D.H. OVERPRINTS
10 different varieties of the 60 on 75 DH
overprint stamps are known. The differences are in the space between the 60
overprint in English and Arabic and the font size in Arabic.
In my opinion, the 60 overprints stamp made
because the heavy demand of 60 DH. Stamps of the same set and that due to the
Palestine workers in Sharjah. The rate from Sharjah to Cyprus is 60 DH. I
have notice that almost all examples of the covers that I have with the 60
overprint are sent to Cyprus and from there to Palestine.
