i first fell in love with networking when i read a book called An Engineering Approach to Computer Networking by S. Keshav, before that i had been wondering what to do post engineering, with things related to the internet forming a huge part of my interests.

i now am pursuing my masters in computer networks, maybe i'll get in to research, i'm not sure as of now, a semester later, the future will be clearer, inshallah.

i have done the following courses in the past semester,

EE 450 under prof. zahid, one of the finest teachers i have ever come across. got an A

EE 465 again under prof. zahid, A-

CS 402 under prof. crowley, managed only a disappointing B in this course though I had been expecting a B+ atleast

neways, i did learn a lot in this semester and spring 2002 promises to be even better.

i have the following courses this semester,

cs 551, under prof. john heidemann

cs 571, under prof. bapa rao

ee 555, under prof. zahid

i’m hoping to do better this semester than i did last time, inshallah, god willing.

i’m following the course plan i have had, more or less, and hoping for the best. for now the

courses i’m doing are the ones i have wanted to. ‘am having a hell of a time and hope this

continues.
